Mackintosh LTC – February Half Term Camps 2022

We will be running 3 days of Tennis Camps during February Half Term on the following dates:
Tuesday 22nd February
Wednesday 23rd February
Thursday 24th February

With the number of COVID cases extremely high at the moment, we have decided to split the groups into shorter sessions spread out across the day, to reduce the number of people at the club at the same time, and to avoid using the indoor facilities.

Blue Stage (ages 4-6) – 10-10:55am
Red Stage (ages 6-8) – 11-11:55am
£7.50 members / £10 non-members (per day)
£20 members / £25 non-members (ALL 3 days)
Red Stage Invitation (ages 6-8) – 10-11:55am 
Orange Stage (ages 8-9) – 10-11:55am
Green Stage (ages 9-10) – 10-11:55am
Orange Stage Invitation (ages 8-9) – 12:30-2:25pm
Green Stage Invitation (ages 9-10) – 12:30-2:25pm
Yellow Stage (ages 11+) – 12:30am-2:25pm
Yellow Invitation Squads (ages 11+) – 3-4:55pm
£15 members / £20 non-members (per day)
£40 members / £50 non-members (ALL 3 days)

Mackintosh LTC – Nature Valley Big Tennis Weekend Open Day Follow-Up

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Nature Valley Big Tennis Weekend Open Day at Mackintosh LTC on Sunday 14th July – we hope you had a great day.

Ages 2.5-4 – Tots Tennis
Tots Tennis runs every Friday during the term-time 10-10:45am & 2-2:45pm. The cost is £4 per session (pay & play) – no booking required, just turn up and get involved. Please contact Emma on 07970 820307 for more information

Ages 4-11 – Tennis For Kids courses
Tennis for Kids is a great way to get started in tennis. Receive 6 fun and interactive coaching sessions, a racket and ball set, plus a personalised t-shirt for only £25 (+£4.99 P&P)

Ages 4-16 – Summer Holiday Tennis Camps

Adults (ages 16+)

Tennis Xpress (Beginners)
If you have never played tennis before, or haven’t played in a long time, then Tennis Xpress is for you. It is an easy and fun way for adult beginners to get into the game. During the six sessions you will be taught new skills and be shown how to serve, rally and score, so that by the end, you will be able to enjoy fun matches with your friends, family and other people you meet.

We still have a few places available for our Summer Holiday course, starting next Monday 22nd July.
Monday 22nd July – Wednesday 7th August 7-8:30pm (every Monday & Wednesday)

Adults Summer Tennis Camps (Improvers/Advanced)
We are also running a number of sessions during the school holidays for Adults who have played more tennis and are looking to make some improvements to their game. These sessions will run on the following dates from 7-8:30pm: Monday 22nd July, Friday 26th July, Monday 29th July, Friday 2nd August, Monday 5th August, Monday 12th August, Wednesday 14th August, Friday 16th August.

The cost of the sessions is as follows:
£10 members / £12 non-members (per day) or, £65 members / £80 non-members (all 8 days)

Cardio Tennis (All Levels)
Cardio Tennis runs every Friday (during term-time) 7:15-8:15pm. The cost is £4 members / £5 non-members.

Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class set on a tennis court and open to people of all ages and abilities. Supported by music and qualified instructors, you’ll get to hit lots of tennis balls during your class and have a great cardio workout at the same time. Calling all Adults,

Are you keen to learn a new sport? Perhaps you would like to be able to play tennis with your children. If you have never played tennis before, or haven’t played in a long time, then Tennis Xpress is for you. It is an easy and fun way for adult beginners to get into the game.

Mackintosh LTC – Tennis for Kids course – Monday 27th May – Saturday 1st June

TENNIS FOR KIDS COURSE –
MONDAY 27TH MAY – SATURDAY 1ST JUNE

Calling all parents with children 4-7 years keen to give tennis a try for the first time.

We are running a Tennis for Kids course at Mackintosh LTC from Monday 27th May to Saturday 1st June 9-10am each morning – Tennis for Kids is a fun starter course for kids aged between 4 and 11 who have never played tennis or have played very little before. Packed full of games and drills to get kids active, it also gives parents the chance to join in too.

Tennis for Kids includes six tennis sessions led by an accredited LTA coach, a racket and ball set, and a personalised t-shirt – all delivered for just £25 (+ £4.99 P&P).

Mackintosh LTC – Summer Holiday Tennis Camps 2019

Are you starting to make plans for the Summer Holidays? Are you looking for activities to keep your children active during the holidays?

Mackintosh Lawn Tennis Club are running Tennis Camps during the Summer Holidays. Aimed at ages 4-16 of all experience levels, the tennis camps are a fantastic way for your children to keep fit, have fun, improve their tennis and make new friends. With our enthusiastic team of qualified coaches (all DBS checked, and First Aid trained) your children are guaranteed an amazing experience.

We will be running four weeks of Summer Holiday Tennis Camps on the following dates:

Week 1 – Monday 22nd July – Friday 26th July
Week 2 – Monday 27th July – Friday 2nd August
Week 3 – Monday 5th August – Friday 9th August
Week 4 – Monday 12th August – Friday 16th August

For children aged 4-8 years we will be running Mini Red sessions every morning 10-11am. For the children aged 8+ there is All Day tennis camp running from 11am-4pm. There is also wrap around care available for children attending the All Day camp from 8am-6pm – please enquire for further details.

Mackintosh LTC – 2019/20 Membership Renewals DUE

2019/20 Membership Renewals DUE


Calling all Members, Players, Parents and Prospective Members,

We hope you have enjoyed your year as a member at Mackintosh LTC. Membership fees for the 2019/20 year are due from 1st April 2019. To take advantage of the Early Bird Membership discount (save up to £30), please make payment by 30th April 2019.

We have great news that in September, major works will be undertaken at the club. Courts 1&2 will be resurfaced and Court 3 will be reconstructed, including the removal of the trees and bank. Internal fencing will also be renewed. The total cost for the project is around £82K. Unfortunately, during this time we will have limited access to courts 4&5 – we are currently investigating other facilities to ensure there are still opportunities for Coaching and Social hitting during this period.

This year we are delighted to be able to process all membership renewals online for the first time, using LTA software ClubSpark.

To renew your membership you will need to follow a few simple steps:

2. Register / Log in to ClubSpark
3. Select your membership package
4. Make payment (there is an option to pay in full via Direct Debit, Credit/Debit Card, Cheque or Cash)

Following on from last year, we are keen to get more parents playing tennis at the club. We have got an option to join as a parent member for £50 – this entitles you to use the courts with your child on Saturdays after 3pm, all day on Sundays and during school holidays (when the courts are available).

Additionally, we are continuing our membership referral offer this year – if you refer a friend who joins as a FULL Individual Adult, you will receive a FREE 1/2 hour Individual Lesson or a Mackintosh LTC T-shirt.
